| REAL WEDDING | Jess & Andy

Welcome to the wedding of Jess & Andy at Swancar Farm Country House

A dreamy day filled with classic romance vibes and pretty, neutral tones

Here at Save The Date, we are huge fans of the gorgeous Swancar Farm Country House and it was the perfect backdrop for Jess and Andy’s big day. The blousy white blooms mixed with sage-y eucalyptus created the most stunning tones which ran throughout the day; from cake to bridesmaids. Jess absolutely wowed in her Mikaella Bridal gown and we have fallen in love with that dramatic veil which finishes off her outfit!

Below we’ve asked her to give us the low-down on the day alongside the full gallery for your delight…

The Best Bits

Our table plan and table 'numbers' which were vinyls. Each of the bands featured on our vinyls were a gig that we had been to, music has a special place in our relationship and we are known for our kitchen dancing! All the little details on the vinyls were personalised to the guests who were on that table from the track list, to the production studio or watermarks... Everyone loved them!

And also our little gingerbread sausage dog favours. Our sausage dog couldn't join us for our wedding but he's obviously a huge part of our life so it was great to have him there in some way.

Oh and my now husband surprised me with my brother-in law-playing guitar for me walking down the aisle! We chose one of our favourite songs and my brother-in-law learnt it, but made it his own, it made me very emotional and was such a lovely touch.

Advice to Future Couples

Make sure you spend time together on your wedding day - there are so many people of course who are happy to see you and want to chat but really prioritise each other. The day is about the two of you and you won't get to do it again so be with each other. Andy and I love to dance and we promised each other that we would dance all night and we did, it was the best thing. And don't sweat the small stuff! It's things you won't notice or remember, just enjoy this time.

Sum It up

“A bit cliche, but just perfect. It was the first time in nearly two years that a lot of our guests had seen each other so there was just so much happiness, laughter and emotion, it was the most incredible day. Everything fell into place so perfectly and as cheesy as it sounds, it was the day I've dreamt about since being a little girl.”
