The team here at Save the Date HQ follow top influencer Coral Pearl on Instagram and find her life super inspiring. So when her and her now husband tied the knot with their two adorable daughters in New York, we swooned over the pictures!

So imagine our excitement when Coral agreed to feature her stylish big day on the pages of our little glossy mag. We are so here for it. And know you will be too. Without further ado, here’s Coral;

Why did you and your husband decide to elope? “We decided to elope because neither of us wanted a big wedding to be honest. My father passed away last year and Ally’s mother is no longer with us and the thought of having a big wedding without them here just didn’t feel right. Neither of us had ever really been that bothered about getting married - even though we had been engaged for a long time. And when we realised just how easy it was to elope it honestly felt so right! “

And why New York!? “I personally have very special memories in New York - My Dad was an antique dealer many years ago and when I was growing up he would bring me along on his work trips and we had some very special times there.”

How much planning went into your big day? “We only began planning a month before! As soon as we had the idea we just decided to go for it…We found our photographer through Instagram, booked our slot at city hall and that was it!”

And in your opinion, what did you enjoy most about having a destination wedding? “The best part about having a destination wedding was the fact that we were able to turn it into such a fun adventure. Plus of course, we made memories with our children that will last a lifetime.”
