It’s Friday, Jack Frost has officially arrived and so it’s time to get yourself a steaming hot cup of tea (anyone partial to a jaffa cake too?) and enjoy this Friday’s DIY session with the gorgeous Chloe Adlington, of Adore by Chloe:

 

Lovely DIY Decorations…

 

“Pretty fabrics, pale pink and love hearts aren’t just for Valentine’s day! They maybe EVERYWHERE right now but after the 14th Feb they’ll go back to being ‘shabby-chic’ and ‘handmade’, which is right up my street ;-)

I actually made these stuffed fabric hearts a while ago and they’re really useful. I use them for decorating my stand at wedding fairs, adding some pretty to the dinner table and one long walk in the woods with the pugs later and another idea came to me!
A pretty chandelier, perfect for hanging over your wedding tables or outside in the trees whilst you have your photo’s taken…. or on my bedroom wall like this one!
To make it you will need 12 fabric stuffed hearts, a decent sized twig / branch from the park and a needle and thread:
Start by knotting your thread at one end then secure the bottom heart…
Thread through the back of two more hearts to form a hanging strand like this:
Tie this to your twig then just repeat 3 more times!
